The definition of service coordination is: "Organized efforts between two or more agencies to ensure children with disabilities and their families get what they need in a way that makes sense."

Service coordination should be offered/discussed with all parents who have children receiving special education!

ISD 935 Assistive Technology lending library

A number of students in FFASEC districts have disabilities that require the use of assistive technology to benefit from their education.  A lending library which includes such items as communication devices and other adaptive equipment is available for districts to try with students who have special technology needs.

 

Student Plans Tips & Documentation

The FFASEC uses Student Plans, a web-based due process reporting software system to create and manage IEP and IIIP special education plans.  Click here for links to Student Plans manuals and tips.

 

Elluminate

The FFASEC uses Elluminate to run on-line tech support for special ed teachers and staff.  This page gives instructions about how to enter the ISD 935 Tech vRoom.
